New designed train from 13th Nov. 2015

This train is designed by Eiji Mitooka, who also designed another scenic trains running in Tango region. One of interesting thing about this train is, have a communal area(see the picture below). I wonder if there is any Japanese person who has brave enough to use this space? I hope someone is using this area :D Western style toilet available on the train. The train runs multiple times a day within Kyoto and Tango region.

Visiting Amanohashidate in winter

The picture is taken on 27th Dec 2014 at Amanohashidate.
I highly recommend to wear warm cloth&beanie to protect you from cold wind if you are plan to walk on Amanohashidate. Because Amanohashidate is a narrow sandbar and wind comes from both side.

Snowing.

If you like snow, this winter we got plenty of snow compared with last winter.
Children made Japanese igloo.
Usually when we get this much snow in earlier than Feb, spring comes earlier.
The pictures are from 3rd Jan 2015 in Miyazu.
